FARAH CITY (PAN fighters in western Farah province, officials said on Wednesday.
An unknown number of de-miners was kidnapped at around 10:00 am on Wednesday in the Shamalgah area of Bala Blok district, provincial police chief Brig. Gen. Sayed Mohammad Roshandel told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Roshandel said police forces have launched a search operation, adding they have urged the tribal elders to assist them.
A resident of the district said on condition of anonymity that the kidnapped numbered about 30 people.
