ASADABAD (PAN): Pakistani forces once again fired missiles on Afghan territory in the eastern province of Kunar, the provincial governor said on Monday.
They fired 15 long-distance missiles, which landed in Sonu and Chawgam areas of the Shultan valley in Shigal district, the governor, Syed Fazlullah Wahidi, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
No one suffered casualties in the shelling, he said.
Up to 22 civilians have been killed, 40 injured and thousands of families displaced in shelling of Pakistan over the past month, he added.
Peaceful demonstrations against such attacks were held on Monday in eastern Nangarhar and southern Helmand provinces.
