by Abdul Mueed HashmionAug 3, 2011 - 13:26JALALABAD (PAN): An unmanned aircraft of NATO-led troops crashed in the eastern province of Nangarhar, the alliance said on Wednesday.
The aircraft came down due to technical problems in the Hada Farm area on the outskirts of Jalalabad, the provincial capital, at 7pm on Tuesday.
Police cordoned off the site and transferred the aircraft wreckage, the International Security Assistance Force media office told Pajhwok Afghan News.
A Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, claimed the drone had been shot down by the insurgents. However, ISAF rejected the claim as groundless.
