Blast leaves 5 dead in Uruzgan
KANDAHAR CITY (PAN): Four civilians and a policeman were killed when a roadside bomb struck a police vehicle in the Dehrawud district of central Uruzgan province on Tuesday, an official said.
Another policeman was wounded in the blast that took place in the afternoon, targeting a police patrol vehicle, crime branch chief, Gulab Khan, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Resident Mohammad said he saw four dead bodies at the scene. The blast comprehensively destroyed the police ranger pick-up vehicle, he said.
There was no word from the Taliban about the attack.
