Taliban kill 4 civilians in Farah

FARAH CITY (PANinfo-icon):  The Talibaninfo-icon have killed four civilians they abducted two days ago in the western province of Farah, officials said on Tuesday.

In order to enhance their influence, the militants had created differences among the people of the Kal Qala area in Bala Baluk district, the National Directorate of Security (NDSinfo-icon) head, Abdul Samad, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Two days ago, the insurgents abducted two people of the area. The captives' bodies were found late on Monday, the intelligence officer said.

The victims' bodies were handed over to relatives, said the provincial police chief, Brig. Gen. Syed Mohammad Roshandil.

Separately, three people were wounded in a roadside bombing in the Diwar Surkh area of Khak Safid district. The incident took place when a convoy of Afghan soldiers was passing the area.
