KABUL(PAN): As many as 146 technical and vocational schools would be established in the country over the next three years, The Ministry of Education said on Saturday.
With the opening of the schools, the number of students would reach150,000 in the next three years, Ministry of Education spokesman Amanullah Eman told Pajhwok Afghan News.
There are 129 government and 37 private technical and vocational schools providing education for more than 42,000 students across the country.
In the first quarter of the current year (Mar 22 to Jun 21), 40 schools were inaugurated in Afghanistan. Forty students will be granted scholarships by Russia, as many by Kazakhstan and 14 by Germany during the current year.
