KABUL (PAN): The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) signed three agreements with the Development Assistance Facility for Afghanistan (DAFA) on Saturday. Dr. Suraya Dalil, acting minister of public health, inked the accords with John Templeton, DAFA representative.
The ministry is strengthening hospital management and human resource for management information system, programmes which are being implemented with financial support of more than 1.5 million Australian dollars from DAFA.
Dalil said herministry remained committed to improving the health system and signing the agreements were another step taken by the MoPH with the assistance of DAFA toward achieving that goal.
John Templeton, DAFA facility, highlighted his organisation's financial and technical support to the ministry. He said DAFA aimed to work with the ministry to identify development assistance needs and, in collaboration with the ministry, develop possible responses to the needs.
