ISLAMABAD (PAN): Pakistan has promised all possible steps to resolve problems of refugees during Hajj, the Afghan embassy in Islamabad said on Saturday.
Afghan Ambassador Umar Daudzai won the assurance from Pakistani Minister for Religious Affairs Khursheed Shah and Minister of States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) Eng. Shaukatullah Khan.
Refugees' problems, including those related to Hajj, were discussed at the meeting on Friday. The ambassador urged a resolution of the issues. The Pakistani ministers assured him of full cooperation.
Afghan refugees in Pakistan, while talking to Pajhwok Afghan News last month, had demanded of the government in Kabul, to enable them to go to Saudi Arabia from Pakistan.
