10-year-old attempted suicide bomber detained in Kandahar

KABULinfo-icon (PANinfo-icon): A 10-year-old Pakistani attempted suicide bomber was held in southern Kandahar province, the Interior Ministry said on Sunday.

Sadiq Sadiqi told Pajhwok Afghan News, that the security forces arrested the child on Saturday night in the Kandahar city.

The Interior Ministry spokesman added that the attempted attacker, Abdul Samad, was originally from the city of Quetta in Pakistaninfo-icon’s Baluchistan region.

According to the spokesman, the child was kidnapped three months ago and was trained for suicide attacks at a camp in Pakistan. He said the child is being taken to the capital Kabul by the security forces.
