KABUL (PAN):  An Afghan National Army (ANA) soldier was killed and 12 others were injured in separate incidents across the country in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Defence said on Monday.

In a statement, the ministry said that the soldier was killed and seven others were wounded in bombings and Taliban attacks in eastern Kunar and central Logar provinces.

Five soldiers were wounded after the vehicle in which they were travelling in flipped over in the Narkh district of central Maidan Wardak province, the statement added.

Without giving further information about the victims’ condition, the ministry said the injured were evacuated to hospital.
