District police chief among 4 injured in Ghor blast
A civilian was also injured in the blast that took place in the Charsadda district on Saturday, said provincial police chief, Gen. Khuda Yar Qudsi.
The Charsadda district police chief and two other policemen and a civilian were injured in the incident, he said.
The injured were taken to a district clinic, he said, adding the police chief and another policeman were in a critical condition.
A Taliban spokesman, Qari Yousuf Ahmadi, claimed the fighters killed the district police chief, Gul Ahmad, along with two of his guards.
