KABUL (PAN): Five civilians were killed when their vehicle struck a roadside bomb, the Taliban's weapon of choice, in Qaisar district of northern Faryab province on Monday, the interior ministry said.
In a brief statement, the ministry said the anti-vehicle mine planted by the enemies of peace and stability hit the civilian vehicle in Ghora region of Shakh village at 12:45pm.
As a result, five civilians were martyred, the statement said, condemning the incident as un-Islamic and inhumane.
