Militant killed, 4 NATO supply trucks torched in Logar
PUL-I-ALAM (PAN): One militant was killed and a second injured when the bomb they were planting on the side of a road went off accidently in central Logar province, officials said on Monday.
The incident occurred in Dabar area of Charkh district late on Monday, said Maj. Gen. Ghullam Sakhi Rough Liwanai, the provincial police chief. He said the injured militant has been arrested by police.
Resident Khalid Ahmad said the incident occurred in Maghol Khill village.
A Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, confirmed six logistics carrying vehicles were set on fire in the attack.
