KABULinfo-icon (PANinfo-icon): Two International Security Assistance Force (ISAFinfo-icon) soldiers died in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack in southern Afghanistaninfo-icon on Thursday, the alliance said.

The deaths were announced in a brief statement from the ISAF media office that neither revealed the servicemembers' nationalities nor the exact location of the roadside bombing, a weapon of choice for Talibaninfo-icon militants.

So far during the current year, 423 international soldiers, including 314 Americans, have died in Afghanistan. In 2010, 711 ISAF troops were killed in the country.
