HERAT, Sept 10, 2011: In total, thirteen Afghan weightlifters obtaining third position earned five golden, four silver and two bronze medals during Asian Weightlifting Competitions being held in Taiwan, officials from Afghanistan Weightlifting Federation told the media.

Hundreds of athletes from more than 40 countries have participated in this event, officials added.
