2 die in Mazar-i-Sharif cylinder blast
MAZAR-I-SHARIF (PAN): At least two people died and 10 others sustained injuries when a gas cylinder exploded in northern Balkh province on Wednesday.
The blast in the second district of Mazar-i-Sharif occurred at an under-reconstruction house around 1:00pm, the provincial deputy police chief said.
Abdur Rauf Taj told Pajhwok Afghan News two workers were killed on the spot and 10 others wounded, including children. One of the wounded was in critical condition, he said.
Haji Muhammad Rasul, owner of the house, said he had hired labourers for reconstructing his house. The explosion killed two of the labourers and 10 of his family members, Raul concluded.
