Explosion leaves 5 border policemen dead

SHIBERGHAN (PANinfo-icon): Five border policemen were killed as a result of roadside bombing in the Qarqin district of northern Jawzjan province on Monday, an official said on Monday.

The incident took place in Dinar village at about 2pm, killing five border police, including two officers and three policemen, said Col. Mohammad Sadiq Muradi, the deputy police chief.

As usual, the Talibaninfo-icon claimed responsibility for the blast, with their spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid saying that five border policemen were killed and their pick-up destroyed.
