Kunduz blast leaves girl dead
KUNDUZ CITY (PAN): A minor girl was killed and two others were injured in a roadside bombing in the northern province of Kunduz, officials said on Monday.
The incident took place on Sunday evening when the children were on their way home after grazing their sheep in the Nasri area of Imam Sahib district.
District chief, Imamuddin Quraishi, told Pajhwok Afghan News the dead girl eight-year-old. The injured boys, aged seven and eight, were taken to the district clinic in stable condition, he said.
Quraishi accused the Taliban of planting the roadside bomb, but the insurgents have not yet commented on the roadside bombing.
