11 injured in attack on wedding party
KHOST CITY (PAN): Eleven people were injured when unidentified men hurled a hand grenade at a marriage ceremony in southeastern Khost province, an official said on Tuesday.
The incident occurred in the Ghrombi village on the outskirts of Khost City on Monday night, the police spokesman, Zyarat Gul, told Pajhwok Afghan News, adding that 11 participants of the party were wounded.
The victims were evacuated to Khost Civil Hospital, he said, explaining the police have launched investigations into the incident, but no one had been so far detained in connection with the case.
