GHOR, Sept 30, 2011: A resident of Shahrak district, who allegedly killed his girlfriend’s husband and had illicit relationship with her, was executed by the woman’s father before hundreds of residents in western Ghor province. The execution was ordered by Mullah Mustafa, a former commander.

The commander captured the man after the woman’s in-laws approached him. The woman had asked her lover to kill her spouse before they could elope.
