2 civilians killed in Baghlan attack
PUL-I-KHUMRI (PAN): Two members of a family were killed after illegal armed men raided a house in Pul-i-Khumri, the capital of northern Baghlan province, an official said on Sunday.
The incident took place on Saturday night in 3rd police district, where illegal gunmen stormed the house of 63-year-old Habibullah, a local resident, killing him and his young nephew, Staff Cap. Qudratullah, the district chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
No one had been detained in connection with the incident, he added.
Zabiullah, one of Habibullah’s sons, said his father had no personal enmity, but they had a scuffle with their land grabbers two years ago.
