KHOST (PAN): A huge quantity of weapons and ammunitions was seized during a joint operation in the Musakhel district of southeastern Khost province, an official said on Tuesday.
The weapons and ammunitions were seized from a house in the Gabar area by Afghan and International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) soldiers, a spokesman for the 203rd Military Crops said.
Col. Shah Sawar told Pajhwok Afghan News the soldiers seized 33 RPG shells, four mines, two bags of bullets, 70 sleeping bags, military jackets, two tents, medicines, food items and a car.
A number of suspects were detained during the operation.
