LASHKARGAH (PAN): Four Afghan civilians were killed and three others wounded in a roadside bomb explosion in southern Helmand province, the governor’s office said on Thursday.
Coming hours ahead of US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s arrival in Kabul, the incident took place on Wednesday afternoon when a civilian car hit a roadside bomb in the Taghez area of Khan Nashin district.
A statement from the governor’s house said the injured were evacuated to a health facility of the International Security Assistance Force. The statement gave no further details.
Qari Yousuf Ahmadi, a Taliban-led soldiers were killed in the bombing, he claimed.
