KANDAHAR, Oct 20, 2011: 56 12th grade graduates appeared in a test for a nursing course. Held at the Mirwais Hospital, the exam would pave the way for 35 successful girls to attend a two-year nursing course at the Kandahar Medical Institute.

The institute head, Dr. Nasrin Barakzai, told Pajhwok Afghan News 79 students had applied for admission to the course, but only 56 of them sat the test.
