CHARIKAR): Two employees of the Bagram airbase were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in central Parwan province, officials said on Saturday.
The incident took place late on Friday in the Simai Afghanha area on the outskirt of Charikar, the provincial capital, the provincial police chief told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Brig. Gen. Sher Ahmad Maldani said the men were shot dead soon after receiving their salaries. He suspected private feuds could be a possible motive behind the killings. An investigation has been launched.
Dr. Khalilullah Farhangi, the provincial civil hospital chief, said one dead body and an injured person were brought to hospital. He added the wounded man later succumbed to his injuries.
