4 dead in Lower Dir explosion
ISLAMABAD (PAN): Four people, including a member of an anti-insurgent militia, were killed in a bomb blast the Lower Dir district of Pakistan's northwestern Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province on Tuesday, a police official said.
Pro-government militia member Azizur Rehman, his son and two others were killed when the vehicle they were travelling in hit a roadside bomb in a remote area of the district, a sub-inspector of police said.
Tahir Shah told Pajhwok Afghan News the vehicle was damaged as a result of the improvised explosive device blast. The victims were going from the Ghonday village to the Samar Bagh area, he said.
