Roadside bombing kills 2 children

QALAT (PAN): Two children were killed in an explosion in the Shahjoy district of southern Zabul province, an official said on Wednesday.

The incident took place late on Tuesday in the Cheno area when the children were passing the area, Mohammad Sadiq, the district chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

It was the militants who were planting bombs to target Afghan and international troops, but civilians were the first victims of them, he said.
