Three charred bodies found in Faryab
MIAMANA (PAN): Police have found three dead bodies, charred beyond recognition, in northern Faryab province, officials said on Tuesday.
The bodies, including one beheaded, were found dumped in the Khwaja Paitakht area on the outskirts Miamana City on Monday night, police spokesman, Capt. Sayed Masood Yaqubi, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The victims' identity and the cause of the murder were yet to be known, he said, adding the bodies had been dispatched to a hospital.
The civil hospital chief, Dr. Mohammad Ali Alim, said the bodies had been transferred to the Miamana hospital for forensic analysis.
Samir Enayat, a forensic doctor, said the bodies were charred beyond recognition. Result of the forensic examination would be sent to Kabul, he said.
