TIRINKOT (PAN): Four Afghan civilians, including an elderly man and three children, were killed in roadside bombing in central Uruzgan province on Friday, an official said.
The blast took place in the Nachin village on the outskirts of Tirinkot, the provincial capital, at 10am when a bike hit the roadside bomb.
Police spokesman Farid Ayel, speaking to Pajhwok Afghan News, blamed the Taliban for planting the bomb. Civilians were the worst hit by such devices, he said.
