Road being asphalted in Kabul
KABUL (PAN): Asphalting of a three-kilometre road was launched in the Rahman Mina area of the capital Kabul on Tuesday, an official said.
The 10.5 metres wide road is being asphalted at a cost of 62,000,000 million afghanis ($1,281,520).
With a three-month timescale, the project was launched by an Afghani private construction company, Kabul Mayor Eng. Mohammad Yunus Nawandesh said.
The mayor had previously promised asphalting 120 kilometres of roads in Kabul this year.
