KABUL organisations at the second Bonn Conference, which is scheduled for December 5 in Germany.

The two civil society members named Abdul Bari Salam and Sailai Ghafari would demand the international community to put pressure on regional powers to stop interference into Afghanistan’s internal affairs, a number of civil society members told a joint press conference in Kabul.

“The international community must ensure it presence in Afghanistan until a political solution to the conflict is found,” Salam said.

He said peace talks with the militants were helpful and the civil society organisations would support such efforts. However, he said human rights and civil liberty should not be overlooked before reaching a deal with the insurgents.

The conference would usher into a new era of prosperity in Afghanistan and all those things which could not be done in last 10 years would be looked upon, said Hussay Wardak, another member of the civil society.
