Building for bank being constructed in Nimroz
By Ramin Dec 7, 2011 - 18:21ZARANJ (PAN): Construction work on a building for a branch of the Da Afghanistan Bank has been launched in southwestern Nimroz province, officials said on Wednesday.
The two-storey building on 700 square metres of land is estimated to cost 15 million afghanis ($309,023), the branch officer, Mohammad Naeem Syedi, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said bank employees were currently working in a small building which lacked facilities. The new building will have administrative rooms, a treasurer's office, a dining hall and other facilities.
Salahuddin, in charge of the project, said. the building would take 10 months to complete.
