KHOST CITY (PAN): Three people were detained for having links to Taliban fighters during a joint operation in the southeastern province of Khost, an official said on Tuesday.
The suspected militants were detained by Afghan and International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) troops on Monday night in the Noori village of Sabari district, a spokesman for the 203rd Thunder Military Corps said.
Col. Shah Sawar told Pajhwok Afghan News a car, three Kalashnikovs, two machine guns, an 82-mm artillery with two shells, five military jackets, two burqas and five masks were recovered from the men.
