KABUL): An Afghan citizen succumbed to his injuries due to doctors’ negligence at a hospital in the Indian state of Maharashtra, a media report said on Monday.
Mohammad Daud was brought to the Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur after being hit by a vehicle on Sunday, but there was no doctor in the polytrauma ward to give him medical care.
“At 11.00 am, he was admitted to the polytrauma ward but doctors came at 12 noon. After 15 minutes, Daud died,” his attendant Mohammad Salim told The Times of India newspaper.
Daud paid frequently visited Jaipur in connection with his business, according to the news report.
