3 ISAF soldiers dead in roadside bombing
KABUL (PAN): Three International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) soldiers were killed in a roadside bombing, a weapon of choice for the insurgents, in eastern Afghanistan, the alliance said on Wednesday.
Tuesday's deaths were announced in a brief statement from the NATO-led force that neither revealed the servicemembers' nationalities nor the exact location of the incident. Mostly American troops are deployed to eastern provinces of Afghanistan.
Among the 561 foreign troops killed since the beginning of this year, 413 are Americans. Last year, the deadliest for the multinational force, 711 international soldiers were killed in the country.
