3 NATO supply trucks gutted in Khost
KHOST CITY (PAN): Three trucks carrying fuel and goods for the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) soldiers were gutted after in an explosion in southeastern Khost province, an official said on Friday.
The incident took place on the southern outskirts of Khost City, the provincial capital, at a parking facility late on Thursday, police chief, Brig. Gen. Sardar Mohammad Zazai, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the fire had been brought under control after firefighters arrived at the scene.
The police chief said the fire was caused by a bomb attached to one of the trucks.
