Candidates from Kabul will celebrate Eid among people

KABUL): Eid greetings with students in hostels, visiting prisons and other social gathering are major planned activities of candidates of parliamentary election from central Kabul province during three days of Eid.

He wanted to visit those university students who were in hostels during Eid days and were unable to go homes because of insecurity, Eng. Sher Wali Wardak candidate from the province told Pajhwok Afghan News.

“I have provided boxes of cakes and cookies as Eid gifts to students from Helmand, Uruzgan, Zabul, Maidan Wardak, Paktia and Paktika provinces,” he said.

Muhammad Dawud Barakzai, another candidate from the province said people wee facing problems of transport during Eid days, so he arranged few buses for them on second day of Eid from Char Qala area to Pamir Cinema area for free.

Replying to a question, he said he had posted his pictures on those vehicles, so that people could understand who had provided it.

Ramdan Hussainzada, another candidate wanted to visit Pul-e-Charkhi prison for Eid greeting with prisoners there. “If the government allowed him, he is ready to provide cakes and cookies to them on this happy occasion,” he said.

Rubina Jalali, a female candidate from the province said she had planned to visit female garden called Bagh-i-Zanana.

According to Jalali, she would provide tea, cookies, dry fruits and cakes for almost 200 women in the garden and she would also announce her future political program too.
