Taliban leader's sister killed by her own bombBy Abdul Latif Ayubi Jan 10, 2012 - 15:27
QALA-I-NAW (PAN): A sister of a former Taliban-designated governor for north-western Badghis province was killed when the roadside bomb she was planting went off prematurely in Bala Murghab district, an official said on Tuesday.
The explosion happened in the Panirak area, killing the sister of Mullah Dastagir, police chief, Col. Mohammad Jabbar Saleh, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
A tribal elder, Haji Aminul Haq, said the 65-year-old wanted to avenge her brother's death, who was killed last year. His sister has since been planting roadside bombs to target security forces.
