KABULinfo-icon (PANinfo-icon): One International Security Assistance Force (ISAFinfo-icon) soldier died as a result of a non-battle-related injury in western Afghanistaninfo-icon, the alliance said on Saturday.

In line with its policy, the NATOinfo-icon-led force did not reveal the servicemember's nationality. With Friday's fatality, the death toll for ISAF has reached 14.

Last year, the deadliest for international soldiers in Afghanistan, 566 foreign troops were killed. American troops have borne the brunt of the casualties.

Separately, two Australian soldiers were wounded when the vehicle they were travelling in struck a roadside bombing in central Uruzgan province

The Australian Defence Department said the area was secured and first aid administered to the wounded diggers soon after Bushmaster vehicle hit the bomb.
