GHAZNI, Jan 12, 2012: The security responsibility for Ghazni City, the capital of southern Ghazni province, was on Thursday formally handed over to Afghan forces at a special ceremony.
On the occasion, Governor Musa Khan Akbarzada said Afghan forces were able to provide security for the entire province.
He thanked the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) for serving the people of the city over the past decade.
The governor said people should learn from history how Afghans would defend their motherland.
