Girls' school inaugurated in Kunduz (Video)
By Abdul Mateen Sarfraz Jan 21, 2012 - 13:17KUNDUZ CITY (PAN): A girls' school with the capacity to accommodate nearly 1,400 students was inaugurated in capital of northern Kunduz province on Thursday, officials said.
The two-storey school had 16 classrooms, eight administrative rooms, a water well, 500 pieces of furniture and a boundary wall has been built on one acre of land at a cost of $ 37,000 (1,817,440afs).
The German development bank (KfW) funded the project, Mohammad Zahir Nazam, the education department head, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
