KABUL): A man was freed and his kidnappers were arrested during an operation by Afghan security personnel in Kabul on Tuesday, police said.
The group that abducted the man from the fourth police district was busted in the 11th police district of the capital, the 101st police zone said in a statement.
It added the kidnappers had asked the man’s family for money, without putting a figure on ransom.
Two weeks ago, security personnel had freed a trader from captivity in the Kart-i-Naw locality, the statement said.
