LASHKARGAH (PAN): Four civilians were killed and 34 others, including foreigners, were wounded in a suicide car bombing in Lashkargah, the capital of southern Helmand province, officials said on Thursday.
The blast happened at around 10:40am in front of theAfghanistan Stabilisation Initiative (ASI) and Education Department offices, Daud Ahmadi, the governor's spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Foreigners were among those wounded in the attack near the governor's house. The British Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) said the blast targeted a convoy of its civilian employees, injuring two foreigners and destroying two vehicles.
