HERAT CITY (PAN): A total of 70 prisoners including women were released from central jail in compliance with orders from President Hamid Karzai on the occasion of the Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the birth of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) in western Herat province.

"72 prisoners including 8 female were released," an official said.
