ISLAMABAD (PAN Twenty-20 Cricket Federation (PTCF) team on Monday inflicted another defeat on a visiting Afghan club in the Peace Tournament at the Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium in the northwestern city of Peshawar.
The event is being held between of the two countries twenty-20 cricket federations. Afghan captain Hasti Gul told Pajhwok Afghan News he chose to bat in the 20 overs game after winning the toss.
The side scored 115 runs for the loss of six wickets, with Gul scoring 26, Obaidull 21, Bilal 21 and Aradullah 15 runs. The Pakistani side chased the target for the loss of five wickets.
A day earlier, the hosts defeated the Afghan side in their opener by 55 runs. The Afghanistan Cricket Board has declared the federation as illegal.
