Robber, policeman dead in Balkh clash

MAZAR-I-SHARIF PAN): A robber and a policeman were killed during an armed clash on the Balk-Kunduz highway on Friday morning, an official said.

Also, a thief was detained and a policeman injured in the incident that took place in the Khulam district of the province, the town’s administrative head Karim Khan told Pajhwok Afghan News.

One of the robbers managed to escape, the district chief said, alleged the criminals posed as Taliban and used to rob travelers in the area.
