KABUL-led troops were withdrawn from all ministries in Kabul.
A statement from the ministry said initial investigations showed the killer was its worker. Without giving the attacker’s name and rank, the statement, said a search for the killer was underway.
The assassin identified as Abdul Saboor, 25, is said to be a resident of central Parwan province, where several copies of the Quran were burnt by US troops last week.
He was educated at a Pakistan-based seminary, according to a source who did not want to be named. He linked the deaths to the blasphemous act involving US military personnel.
