Fuel station on fire in Kabul, 2 vehicles damaged

KABUL): A fuel filling station, a fuel tanker and a taxi was burnt on Monday afternoon in the Dehmazang locality of Kabul, witnesses said.

The incident occurred at 1:30pm when the station caught fire in the Nawabad area of Dehmazang, witness Abdul Ghani Ahmadzai, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

A fuel tanker and a taxi were also damaged in the fire, he said.

Due to the fire incident, 50 centimetres of water flooded the roads in the area and vehicles were stranded on both sides of the road.

The cause of the fire is not known.
