Karzai urged to stop airstrikes on civilian houses

KABULinfo-icon (PANinfo-icon): President Hamid Karzai phoned family members of the civilians killed and wounded during recent NATOinfo-icon airstrikes in Badghis, Helmand, Kapisa and Logar provinces.  

The bereaved families urged the president to stop foreign troops from bombing houses and killing civilians, his office said in a statement.

It added Karzai voiced deep grief and sorrows over the loss of precious lives in the recent air raids by foreign troops
