Roadside bomb kills ISAF soldier in south

KABULinfo-icon (PANinfo-icon): An International Security Assistance Force (ISAFinfo-icon) soldier was killed on Wednesday in a roadside bomb blast in southern Afghanistaninfo-icon, the alliance announced.

The soldier’s death was announced in a brief statement from the NATOinfo-icon-led force, which neither revealed the victim’s nationality nor the exact location. 

Mostly, Americans are stationed in southern Afghanistan.

So far this year, the 50-nation coalition force has lost 172 members, including 126 Americans, in the country, while 566 international troops were killed in 2011.
